Artist Statement

Art is the source of growth. My work reflects my interests, concerns, and, in retrospect, my developments. Making art is how I learn and solve problems. By exercising my creativity, I can better interpret my environment as well as myself. I think of my work as characteristically organic and I use techniques in printmaking, drawing, sculpture, and time to achieve this style. My portfolio depicts visual contemplations on the mysterious and the fundamental. I hope that I may review and build upon society through my art, rekindling appreciation the natural world.
